# How to Connect Payment Gateways in Axumind | Stripe, PayPal, & Crypto | Clientlex

Learn how to configure Stripe, Paystack, Razorpay, 2Checkout, PayPal, NOWPayments, and Coinbase Commerce in Axumind.

Axumind supports multiple payment providers, giving agencies flexibility in how they collect payments from clients.

You can connect your preferred payment providers through your agency dashboard. Whether you want to accept card payments, PayPal payments, or cryptocurrency, Axumind allows you to configure the available options according to your payment preferences.

Payment providers in Axumind are organized into three categories: Card Processors, PayPal, and Crypto.

## Understanding Payment Provider Categories

Before connecting a payment provider, it is important to understand how the categories work.

Axumind allows only one active provider within the Card Processors category and one active provider within the Crypto category. PayPal operates independently and can be enabled alongside providers from the other categories.

### 1. Card Processors

Card Processors handle card-based payments through your connected payment account.

Axumind supports:

- **Stripe**

- **Paystack**

- **Razorpay**

- **2Checkout**

You can activate only one card processor at a time.

For example, if Stripe is currently active, you cannot activate Paystack, Razorpay, or 2Checkout until you deactivate Stripe.

You can switch to another processor whenever necessary by deactivating the currently active provider and connecting the alternative.

### 2. PayPal

PayPal is a standalone payment integration.

Unlike the Card Processors category, activating PayPal does not require you to deactivate your existing card processor.

You can use PayPal alongside your selected card processor and crypto provider.

### 3. Cryptocurrency Payments

Axumind also supports cryptocurrency payments through:

- **NOWPayments**

- **Coinbase Commerce**

You can activate only one cryptocurrency provider at a time.

For example, if NOWPayments is active, you must deactivate it before connecting Coinbase Commerce, and vice versa.

## How to Access Payment Provider Settings

To manage your payment integrations:

- Log in to your Axumind agency dashboard.

- Navigate to **Settings → Integrations**.

- Review the available payment provider categories.

- Select the provider you want to connect.

- Complete the required authentication or configuration steps.

- Confirm that the provider is successfully connected and active.

The required connection details may differ depending on the payment provider.

## Connecting a Card Processor

Choose one of the available providers under the Card Processors category:

- Stripe

- Paystack

- Razorpay

- 2Checkout

Follow the instructions displayed for your selected provider to authorize or configure the connection.

Once the connection is successfully completed, the selected processor becomes your active card payment provider.

Remember that only one provider can be active in this category at any given time.

### Switching Card Processors

You may need to switch payment processors if you change your preferred payment provider or move to another supported payment platform.

To switch:

- Open **Settings → Integrations**.

- Locate the currently active card processor.

- Deactivate the active provider.

- Select the alternative provider you want to use.

- Complete its connection and configuration process.

- Confirm that the new provider is active.

You cannot activate another card processor while an existing provider in this category remains active.

## Connecting PayPal

PayPal has its own standalone configuration, separate from Card Processors and Crypto.

Navigate to **Settings → Integrations**, locate PayPal, and follow the connection instructions provided.

Because PayPal is independent, you do not need to deactivate Stripe, Paystack, Razorpay, 2Checkout, NOWPayments, or Coinbase Commerce to configure it.

Once successfully connected, PayPal can operate alongside your other active payment integrations.

## Connecting a Cryptocurrency Payment Provider

Axumind supports cryptocurrency payments through NOWPayments and Coinbase Commerce.

Choose the provider you want to use from the Crypto category and follow the connection instructions displayed in your dashboard.

Only one cryptocurrency provider can be active at a time.

### Switching Crypto Providers

To change your cryptocurrency payment integration:

- Navigate to **Settings → **Integrations.

- Locate the currently active provider under Crypto.

- Deactivate it.

- Select the alternative provider.

- Complete the required connection steps.

- Confirm that the new provider is active.

For example, if you are currently using NOWPayments, deactivate it before connecting Coinbase Commerce.

Your card processor and PayPal configuration are managed independently and do not need to be changed when switching crypto providers.

## Managing Your Payment Integrations

You can return to **Settings → **Integrations whenever you need to review or change your payment configuration.

Remember the following rules when managing your integrations:

- You can have only one active card processor at a time.

- PayPal operates independently and can remain active alongside the other categories.

- You can have only one active cryptocurrency provider at a time.

- To replace a provider within an exclusive category, deactivate the existing one before activating another.

Choose the providers that fit your agency's payment requirements and the options you want to make available to clients.
